At 18:30 on Sep. 9, 2011, Lhasa International Half Marathon Challenge Charity Banquet was held in St. Regis Lhasa Resort with the purpose of raising fund for “Shoe of Hope” of China Charities Aid Foundation for Children (CCAFC), where Raidy Boer Fashion Garment Co., Ltd. donated a classic Ferrante tie for auction. Zhu Xiaodong, President of Oceans Sports & Entertainment Marketing Ltd., Zhang Qiong, Sports Marketing Director of Red Bull and Wei Jiuming, President of CCAFC, made speeches during the Banquet.
China Charities Aid Foundation for Children (CCAFC), a national public-raising foundation, was established in 2009 with the purpose of helping orphans without guardians (including the Aids orphans), street urchins, dropouts, problem teenagers and other children suffering from special difficulties in China, promoting charity concept and culture. Assistance in survival, medical treatment, psychology, skills, growth, etc. is provided by CCAFC through establishment of BoAi Children Center, Charity Center for Children, Employment Development Bridge, Self-improvement Award, Charitable Relief Channels, etc.
The tie donated by Raidy Boer Fashion Garment Co., Ltd. for auction is of special significance, which is the first piece of work designed by Amedeo Ferrante, embodying the consistent delicacy and elegance. At present, there are only dozens of ties of Ferrante Dream around the world; therefore, its rarity and preciousness speak for themselves.
